Fun at the Mullenbachs

March 26th the girls and I along with Tommy, Key and Henry (thank goodness for a minivan!) traveled to Buffalo to Dylan, Angie, and Nolan's house to celebrate Grandma Debbie's birthday. Every time we get together is gets just a little bit more fun. The kids are at such great ages now.

Uncle Dylan, Grandma Debbie, and Tommy took all the kids out to play in the snow and go sledding. They all had so much fun...except Cara she had her crabby pants on until after dinner. Brynnie going down the big hill next to Angie and Dylan's house.

After sledding and swinging the little kids (Cara, Henry, and, Aubrey) came in the house Brynn and Nolan did a little trick-or-treating with the neighbors--they just may have been coached by Uncle Dylan...just maybe.

Since Cara didn't get in on the trick-or-treating action she got to have a sucker in the house.

The "BIG" kids table. Lucky for us the Danielsons made an appearance too!

Ang made a delicious mexican dinner complete with tacos, rice, beans, guacamole and salsa--YUMMY!
Ang doesn't leave any stone unturned when it comes to party planning. She even got helium balloons for Grandma Debbie...well, they could have been for the kids too.

While there Cara said her second clear sentence. After being there for about an hour she brought her coat to me and said, "I wanna go." We didn't plan it quite right and left during naptime. Unfortunately it is only an hour drive...not nearly long enough for this girl. Shortly before dinner she and I went to Nolan's room for a 20 minute nap. She woke up refreshed and ready to party.

Her first clear sentence (and when I say first clear sentence I mean the first time she actually asked something without me prompting her first--after much whining. Slowly but surely she's coming around!) came earlier that week. After she and Brynn were running around the house for quite some time she came in the kitchen and said, "I wanna rink (drink)."
