Summer's almost here!

On days like today I cannot wait for summer.  If I'm counting correctly only 19 more days of school!  After attending Ainsley's baptism the girls wanted to get their sprinker out.  We hooked the hose up to the kitchen sink faucet so they wouldn't get too cold.  Brynn of course loved it.  Cara...preferred to sit on the steps in her towel and shiver.  However, earlier that day she played in the hose water at the Berlings house.  You just never now with her!

After playing in the sprinker the ladies thought they needed to give Ollie a good brushing since he had a bath earlier today.  He sure loves any attention he can get.

After some time spent on the deck we all went for a bike ride and stopped at the park for a bit.  After the park we came home and Darren started a fire.  Thanks to our neighbors we even got to roast some s'mores.
Cara adores "Fiss" (Chris) and I am pretty sure he's a big fan of her too.
Cara eating her s'more sans the chocolate.  Who, other than Cara, says "Blah, this is yucky" every time she tries chocolate?

Chloe is such a good playmate to Brynn and Cara!

I am one lucky lady that I get to spend the summer doing things like this full time!

She belongs!

After quite some time disliking peanutbutter Cara has finally rounded the corner and LOVES it.
We can safely say she belongs in our family now!

Dancing Buddies!

For the last 2 years, Brynn has spent Tuesday nights at Akin Road Elementary dancing with her buddies, Miranda and Abbie.  This is the last year as next year Brynn will be dancing on a different day than the other two girls so she and Cara can dance back to back.

I really feel bad because they are such good buddies, but it sure will be nice when we only have to go to dance one night per week!

"Yook, Mom,...

...I foun a C!"

Not to copy cat her smarty pants cousin, Henry, but Cara's getting good at spotting the letter in her first name too!  She found a C in her pretzels at our last picnic!
