32 Weeks

Here I am at 32 weeks and counting. Just this past weekend baby girl has really dropped and I can finally breathe again. What a relief! We are realizing we have a lot to do and little time to do it. At this point with Brynn we had boxes and boxes of diapers purchased, her room completely painted, decorated and furniture set up, and a carseat waiting to put a baby in. This time around...well let's just say she'll be lucky if we get the crib up. Things change quite a bit when you have a toddler to chase after everyday. We are getting more and more excited by the day to meet our new little girl!

Girls and Boy Night Out

Since Melissa and Peyton were kicked out of the house due to Jeremy's football draft party they invited Brynn and I to the indoor waterpark in Owatonna. We had so much fun!! Thanks for inviting us Melissa and Peyton--we need to get together much more often than we do!
The kiddos had a great time!
They held hands nearly everywhere we went (this may be due to their moms prompting them, but still very cute),
had a tickling contest,
did a little jumping on the bed,
enjoyed the foutains,
went down the slide a million times,
(Thanks, Melissa for catching them every time!)
cuddled in the frog towel,
and read a few books before bed.

Saturday Morning Cartoons?

Most kids like to watch Saturday morning cartoons. Not this girl. Every weekend morning she goes into her play room and grabs book, after book, after book to read. The teacher in me LOVES this part of her!

Minnesota Twins

Last Saturday night Darren, Brynn, and I went to our first Minnesota Twins game of the season. They played the Angels. It was a GREAT game. Brynn was thoroughly entertained not only by watching the game, but the five (wasted) guys sitting behind us kept her pretty well entertained! Only a cute two year old could win these five mid-twenty year old hearts over. They were more interested in playing with Brynners than watching the game.
I must have eaten one too many dome dogs. Look at that double chin! I am sure it wasn't there before I ate it. I am also going to blame it on the baby!

Bath

Brynnie loves her bath time. It was quite the late bath tonight as it was beautiful out and we have a hard time getting ourselves, let alone Brynn, in the house. Whenever she gets tired she gets really silly. I started to drain most of the water out and she thought it was funny to plug it up again and start splashing. Apparently splashing is really funny!

Sewing the Lovie

Brynn's Lovie was beginning to come apart on one side so I thought I better try to sew it up before it becomes worse. It was almost her naptime so the only option was to sew while she was laying on it sucking her fingers. We do what we have to do...

Easter 2009

We had Easter on my side of the family at our house on Saturday. It was so much fun. Brynn and Nolan were able to decorate the annual Easter Bunny cake (compliments of Auntie Angie), go on an Easter egg hunt, open their Easter baskets from Grandma and Grandpa as well as Katie and Tom, and eat some really good food. We could't have asked for a better day!!

Brynn just may be a cake decorator some day...

Farm Babies

Darren, Brynn and I spent Good Friday morning at the Minnesota Zoo checking out all the farm babies. She loved every minute of it. As it was crazy busy (apparently everyone had the day off, and it was beautiful out) we didn't see anything other than the farm animals. On days like these it sure make us appreciate our zoo membership! I didn't post the pictures in the right order--the top ones are her asleep walking to the car in her stroller and then actually transferring her in her carseat still asleep. This NEVER happens. All the fresh air did her in!!

"Esitin"

Brynners wanted to play in her big girl room the other day. Darren and I were enjoying a quiet evening of grilling on a beautiful Thursday afternoon and didn't really feel there was much she could get in to. BOY WERE WE WRONG. It was much too quiet up there so Darren went to go check on her and the following came out of his mouth, "Oh my God. Jen you have to come see this, but don't get mad." Yep, Brynn found the "Esitin" and decided to undress herself down to her onsie and smear Desitin any and every where she could. The pictures really don't do it justice for two reasons: the first is that you really can't see the white Desitin on a white onsie, and the second is that I didn't take any pictures of what it looked like under her onsie. Let's just say there will be no part of her body that is going to get chapped any time soon! Little stinker!!

Do you mind...

...if I'm the little spoon?
Silly Colby Cheese decided she needed a little cuddle time and Ollie was her man! They slept like this for well over an hour before we got up to take pictures of them. It was way funnier in person than it is on camera!
