Girls' Bathroom

Darren finished his last painting project (for now!) on Sunday. We decided to spice up the girls' bathroom before the baby came. It turned out really cute. When Brynn first saw it she said, " I wub my pink bafroom!"

Baby Asleson's Room

A couple pictures of Baby Asleson's room. We have a little more decorating to do, but for the most part we are ready for her whenever she is ready to come!! You'll notice on the wall with the picture of the dresser/changing table that it is only partially covered in polk-a-dots. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. We have been back to Jo-Ann Fabrics about 17 times (and I am not kidding) to get another package of white vinyl and for some reason they have not had any...not to mention the people that work there are of the least helpful customer service people I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. Supposedly (I have already been told this several other Thursdays) they will be getting another shipment this Thursday so we are supposed to call the store Thursday morning and have them set aside a package for us. I'll believe it when I see it...

Congratulations Sara and Jon!

We had a wedding for Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland this weekend. Brynn had a great time bar hopping with us between the wedding and reception thanks in part to the kiddie coctail and cheese curds! In addition we tried to waste some time driving around the parking lot--which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Cheese!

My Mabel girls...Brooke, the beautiful bride Sara, myself, and Laura

Booster

Brynn finally upgraded from her highchair to a booster. Boy does she think she is a big girl now!!

Minnesota Zoo

Grandma Debbie has been begging us for the last two years to go to the zoo with Brynners. We finally caved in and took her last Saturday and what a great trip it was! Jenny Paul and Claire Bear came with us too. Brynn even got to (with the help of $5 from her mom) feed the giraffe two crackers. And before we left I caved in (yes, I know every time we go to the zoo we'll have to do this) and let her play in the water outside Grizzly Coast. As you can see by the look on her face in EVERY picture we took, except the last one, she did not enjoy the water AT ALL!

SUMMER

You may ask what we have been doing in the last week since school's been out, well, we went on a picnic lunch at the park, visited the ice cream truck, and played in the water table...amongst many other things. I sure could get used to this not working thing!!
Cheese!

Bike Trailer

Darren and Brynn surpirsed me with a bike trailer for Mother's Day. I absolutely love it, but find it very hard to use at this stage of the pregnancy so Darren has gotten to take Brynn for several rides. I'm looking forward to taking her out when my knees don't bump my belly every time I pedal!
We did adjust her helmet so it fit her pin-head (better, still not great) after the photo was taken.

Asleson and Parks Babies

Just a quick picture of what a difference 18 weeks of pregnancy can make! I am at 37 weeks in the picture and Katie, my sister, is at 19 weeks.
