We warned and warned Brynn that she could not get out of her bed without us on Christmas morning and that she had to call for us. Well, she didn't listen-Little Stinker! Santa brought the girls a big plastic house (that we knew she would spot if she got out of bed and came and got us), high chair, and baby changing station. For weeks up until Christmas we would ask Brynn what she wanted from Santa. She would always ask what her choices were and then never really give us an answer. Since we moved into our house and took the dogs for a walk she always oohed and awed over a plastic house in someone's driveway. On the 23rd we went to the MOA to visit with Santa and Brynn surprised us with asking Santa for a vacuum. Oh boy, that is what Darren and I were giving Cara. I thought for sure the house would trump a vacuum. Well, Brynn ran in our bedroom on Christmas morning and said,
Brynn: "Santa came to our house last night."
Me: "How do you know that Santa came?"
Brynn: "I saw a big house that Santa brought for Cara."
Me: "How do you know that Santa brought that house for Cara?
Brynn: "Because I asked Santa for a vacuum. I hope he brought me one just like the one you gave Cara."
So, no, the house didn't trump the vacuum. We did tell her that we talked to Santa and he agreed that we didn't need two vacuums at our house and that he thought it would be really nice if she and Cara shared it. She seemed to be satisfied with that. Now only if Cara thought she should share her vacuum...
