Community Education in Farmington had a big rig show in the parking lot of my school in May (yes, I do realize it is now the end of June-I don't know where time has gone!). Darren had softball that night and Brynn had swimming lessons so I packed a picnic dinner took both girls to swimming, had dinner on the way to the big rig show then spent the evening ooohing and awing over all the extra large vehicles. Brynn is infatuated with larger machines and was in her glory. We were able to check out many different types of emergency, transportation, construction, recreational, and race vehicles. The best part was sitting in an actual BUS, yes and real bus! I thought Brynn was going to pee her pants she was so excited. I think she has waited all three years of her life for that very moment--silly girl!
And last but certainly not least were the trike races. I realized that night that Brynn's trike skills are really lacking. We live on a street with no sidewalks and our driveway is really sloped. We have made it a point to take her trike more places and she is getting better, but still needs a bit of help steering and we still can't go too far as she tires easily. My guess is by the end of the summer I'll have trouble keeping up with her!
***AND Cara Bean took her first two steps at the bigs rigs show!! The following day she took another 8 steps at Lynn's. As of June 10th she walks 100% of the time!***
