Play date with the Berlings

Jen, Pete, and Claire Bear came to our house on Sunday for a little pool party, ladder golf, grill out, and bon fire. Fun was had by all. Thanks, Berlings, for making the trip down!

Fashion Show

Brynn had a fashion show by herself the other day. I missed the first 4 outfit changes as I was in the shower, but managed to get the last few. Some things she told me were, "This ones beautiful, Mom. This wooks fabulous. Oh, I wike this one." Man, she's cute!

As you can tell by the look of all her high-waters we'll need to do some pants shopping in the fall!

This is how we find Brynn most nights when we check on her before we go to bed. We haven't quite figured out why she takes all her clothes off, and she is really sneaky so we haven't caught her in the process either.

Why haven't we posted?

I'm not naming any names, but someone I know is quite the fussy baby (who knew babies could cry this much!) and has monopolized our time. It is really hard to do anything one handed! After having a rash that we first thought was baby acne, then a reaction to her baby lotion, then a reaction to baby soap, maybe heat rash...and the list goes on I finally took her in to the pediatrician on Monday. She is suspected to have a dairy allergy and because I am nursing that means no dairy for me. Yep, that's right no milk, cheese, yogurt, icecream...until we can get this figured out. At this point I am willing to do just about any thing to get a happy baby!!

Date With Mommy

Brynn has been talking about going to the beach since this past winter. Finally, she and I made it there! The best part was I barely had to get in the water, Brynn was so occupied with her sand toys that she could have cared less if she even got to swim.

Eyes Open

One of the few pictures of Cara with her eyes open. When she is not sleeping the little Chunky Monkey is eating so getting a picture with eyes wide open tends to be a little difficult at this point.

The Girls

You would think with all the extra time on my hands (ha ha) I would have taken plenty pictures of Brynn and Cara together--this is one of the only ones I have taken of them together since we have been home. I REALLY need to get better at this!

Family

Nope, this post was not titled "Family" because the 4 of us are making our official debut. Brynn has made up a game named Family which consists of sitting near the patio door with a board on her lap and screaming, "Family!" Anyone can play family...her stuffed dogs, naked babies, and even Darren, Cara, and I!
